THE CLEAN OF SCHOOL ENVIRONMENT AND AROUND IT

In the name of God, the lord of the world, the master of the day after, the creator of everything in this universe, where he has no partner. He has also given us such deeply enjoyable, particularly faith and healthy comfort, hence, we could attend here in a good situation.

Ladies and gentlemen,

First of all, I’d like to extend my sincere gratitude to the organizing committee of the speech contest, OSIS SMA N 1 Payangan who has given me, Saras Sasmita this precious chance as the representative of X-1 class to deliver a speech in front the most honorable audiences entitled:

“THE CLEAN OF SCHOOL ENVIRONMENT AND AROUND IT”

Ladies and gentlemen,

Talking about environment, we should realize how important it is for human being. Since it essential part for human life, we must keep the environment, so the earth will give benefits to support our life. One of the ways to make the environment keep support our life is by keeping it clean.

Ladies and gentlemen,

In the effort of keeping the tidiness of the environment, first of all we have to know, what is clean environment mean? Seeing from the fact, we could say that clean environment is a condition where the environment is reasonable for the place of human life, where the environment could support the health of human, physically and emotionally.

We as students can start it by keeping the tidiness of our school environment. Moreover, now we can see that the weather is not good for our health. Sometimes, it’s rainy, but in the other times it is sunny. So, to keep our health, we must keep the tidiness of our environment, especially our school environment. Because students spend 78% of their times at school. Moreover, if we get additional activities, such as extracurricular and OSIS,

Ladies and gentlemen,

A clean school environment is essential not only to prevent diseases to keep the students as well as the teacher healthy but also create a good atmosphere for the teaching and learning process. And as the result, it will create good quality of the graduate students.

Ladies and gentlemen,

Keeping school clean also gives positive influence to the society, especially the society around of our school. The society around of our school will try to imitate us keeping their environment clean. It also gives positive impact to the other school in Payangan, in which they have the same motivation to create clean environment at their school. 

Ladies and gentlemen,

We cannot argue that in the effort of keeping the tidiness of our school environment, all elements of school should get involved in this effort, namely the students, the officers, the teachers. The teachers’ roles in keeping clean the school environment are giving education to the students about the importance of keeping clean environment and as the sample for the students. The teacher should active to create competition, like the best classroom competition or the best garden competition. It will lead the students to give deep care of their classrooms as well as their gardens. As students to keep our school environment tidy and clean, we have to throw the rubbishes in their place by doing cleaning activities every day.

Ladies and gentlemen,

The governments also have taken apart in the effort of keeping the school environment tidiness. For example, they create a School Healthy Exertion or in Indonesian known as UKS competition for senior high school level. We should be proud since our school SMA N 1 Payangan or known as Eka Paysma has been appointed as the delegates of Gianyar regency to join the competition. So, to win the competition, we have to start cleaning our school and improving the facilities to support keeping our school clean such as dirty waterworks, canteen, health appeal, School Healthy Exertion room and many others. Thus, it is so effective in the effort of keeping the tidiness of our school environment.

Now, we can see, how important to keep our environment clean is, especially our school environment, So, start from now we must do something to keep the tidiness of our school environment. And now, I’m urging everyone to save our environment keep clean.
